There is a terrible crisis happening in Ukraine with the invasion of Russia. This should motivate our government more than ever to focus on the U.S. becoming energy independent and stop buying oil from countries whose goals are to take that revenue and fund their motives of undermining democracy. Defending democracy involves more than military decisions. Where we spend our money matters.
