NORTHWEST ARKANSAS, Jan. 13, 2020 – Matchbox Twenty, the multi-platinum, hit-making pop rock band announced their summer tour today, which includes a stop at the Walmart AMP on Tuesday, Aug. 18 as part of the 2020 Cox Concert Series. Gates for the concert will open at 6 pm, and music starts at 7:30 pm.
Tickets go on sale Friday, Jan. 17 at noon. Prices range from $36 to $126 plus applicable fees. Lawn 4-Packs are also available for $18.75 at ticket plus applicable fees. Tickets can be purchased by calling 479.443.5600 or by visiting www.amptickets.com.
In-person purchases can be made only at the Walton Arts Center Box Office in Fayetteville from 10 am until 2 pm Monday through Friday and noon until 4 pm on Saturday. Tickets will be available for purchase via the WAC Tickets app on Friday, Jan. 24.
All tickets purchased for the 2020 Walmart AMP season will not be delivered until March 2020. Tickets will be delivered via the delivery method selected when the order was placed.
Matchbox Twenty 2020 is the band’s first tour since 2017, when they reunited for the “A Brief History of Everything” tour to mark the 20th anniversary of their RIAA Diamond-certified debut album Yourself or Someone Like You.

Matchbox Twenty last performed at the Walmart AMP in 2017.
The Walmart AMP (Arkansas Music Pavilion), a Walton Arts Center venue since February 2011, is Arkansas’ premier outdoor concert venue. The AMP has presented headlining concerts for the past 13 years, including rock, country and pop. In its permanent home in Pinnacle Hills at 5079 W. Northgate Rd., Rogers, Ark., the Walmart AMP has the largest outdoor stage house in Arkansas.
