Keep Your Pet Safe With a Microchip

Microchipping pets is a permanent, safe method to identify pets. Sadly, it is reported that one in three dogs will become lost, with only seventeen percent of these animals returning to their owners. A microchip can help improve the odds of your pet returning safely home if he wanders off or is taken from your home. The SEK Humane Society is hosting a budget-friendly “microchip” clinic. “This service is $20/animal and it’s open to dogs AND cats. When you go to sign up and pay at the store, you MUST SHOW YOUR PETS UP TO DATE RABIES TAG/VACCINATION PAPERWORK FIRST. If your animal is not up to date on rabies, then we cannot perform this service.

Upon your voucher registration you’ll choose an appointment time. Appointment times are every 5 minutes between 1-3PM to make sure we get all 20 animals microchipped in a timely order.
Again, this is our first ever Microchip Clinic so if spots sell out we’ll work on getting another clinic date set in the future to bring this service back to our community. 👍
